Today we are going to practice
saving our finished Paint.Net projects to a .JPEG to Post on our Edublogs.org
page.
1. Open
Paint.NET
Double-click on the Paint.NET icon if present on your desktop.
Double-click on the Paint.NET icon if present on your desktop.
2. Select File > Open... , press CTRL + O
or click the file open icon
Browse to
the S:\_Bucci\Paint.Net\Save to .Jpeg\ and select the image savetojpeg.pdn and
click Open
2. Save
File
Select File Save As...
You should
be taken straight to the
S:\_Bucci\Paint.Net\Save to .Jpeg directory, if not then browse to it as before
S:\_Bucci\Paint.Net\Save to .Jpeg directory, if not then browse to it as before
Change Save as Type to JPEG
(*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.jpe;*.jfif)
Select Save In drop down arrow
Change the directory to your
H:\username\MyDocuments\Tech 6,7 or 8\Portfolio folder
Change the directory to your
H:\username\MyDocuments\Tech 6,7 or 8\Portfolio folder
and Click Save
and Click Save
A
Save Configuration window will pop up Click
OK
Click Flatten so the image is reduced to a single layer
